Relationships Heat Up!

We start the month of November off still under the influences of the October eclipses.

As you may recall, we just had our last Scorpio/Taurus eclipse at the end of October, wrapping up themes around my stuff vs our stuff, my money vs our money, self worth vs inner wounding, family and interpersonal issues.

The Sun, Mars and Mercury are conjunct in the sign of Scorpio. Our focus, the information we receive, and our call to action are all centered on discovery of the truth in Scorpio. They are opposite Jupiter in retrograde, in the sign of Taurus. Taurus represents our security, comfort and peace of mind. With Jupiter retrograding there, we may find reversals in relationships around money, truths being exposed, and action being taken because of it.

Meanwhile Venus, the planet of relationship, love and money is making a trine aspect to both Pluto and Uranus, all in earth signs. It’s a good time to take practical steps to address issues that come up around finances and relationships. Pluto is assisting Venus to take an honest look at issues that she may have previously been unwilling to see. Uranus, the planet of fast change, is also talking to Venus. Together they can impulsively overspend, have unexpected expenses pop up, or come up with creative solutions. Pluto demands that we figure it out or he threatens to blow the whole thing up down the road when Venus makes a square aspect to Pluto.

Mars jumps in on the theme as well, opposing Jupiter and then Uranus in the early part of the month. This is hot, fast, big energy with potential for fireworks! People may be pushing your buttons. Mars in Scorpio is tempted to react spitefully or with revenge, but that is not the best tactic to take. Instead, use that powerful Scorpio energy to plan a strategy to get yourself out of any jam you may find yourself in.

By mid month Mars will trine Neptune and Pluto. Used wisely, they can help Mars take wise action. Pluto adds power of influence to Mars natural feistiness. Neptune can offer intuition…if Mars is willing to slow down long enough to listen! Using the energy poorly, impulsive mars can take underhanded or less than upstanding action under the influence of illusions and confusion provided by watery Neptune.

At the same time Saturn will make a square to hot headed Mars who will by then be in a tight conjunction with the Sun. Our will power and our egos will be energized with the Sun and Mars together. Our vitality and energy will be fired up. With a square to Saturn we will be pushed to stand up to people, situations and any fears that are restricting us. Saturn challenges us to face our own sense of authority and make the hard right decisions to better our circumstances. The key of course, is to stand in your highest integrity.

Again we are still under the influence of the October eclipses, one of which was in Libra at 21 degrees. It’s the kick off to the Libra/Aries series of eclipses, which deal with themes of relationship and independence! You can see this clearly with so much activity centered around Venus and Mars, the lover and the fighter, in this busy month of November!
